This pseudo-search engine passes the request on to Google. It searches PDFs as well as HTML on the site. (The only disadvantage is that the all sites on this computer are searched.)

Also, self-aggrandizing searches on Google Scholar, PubMed, PubMed via BMC, and Google [2] (probably of no interest to anybody else!).
